Hopkins Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt begins Wednesday, July 15 at 10:00 am and ends Friday, July 17 at 10:00 pm. Missions will be released at the start of each day.  All missions will not be the same from one day to another and some will have different goals than other missions. Achieve the highest number of points by 10:00 pm., July 17. 

Each day has a theme with raffle prizes. If your team can only do a few missions a day, you still have a chance of winning a prize in the daily raffles.

Grand Prize, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the three days will be based on cumulative points & the Grand Prize is a ride in a classic car during the Grande Day Parade!‍

RULES FOR THE HOPKINS SCAVENGER HUNT: 1) Following the same as the Golden Raspberry, once a team/family/group has won the Grand Prize of being in the Grande Day parade, they are not able to win the Grand Prize again for five years. They may participate in the Scavenger Hunt and are eligible for the daily raffle prizes.2) Each team must stay together to accomplish all missions. They may not split up as two or more groups that are both completing missions at the same time.**Not all team members need to be in every photo for the mission entries, but they must stay together when completing missions. 3) READ ALL MISSIONS, then REREAD the mission to make sure you are doing what is being asked for on the mission. If not meeting the mission requirement, the judges will deduct the points/remove the mission. (YES, people are looking at these submissions!) 4)Bonus points – For each team that is the first to do a specific mission, they will receive 100 bonus points. Each team will receive 100 bonus points for completing their first mission. Judges will give bonus points based on costumes(same costume will only get bonus points 1-2 times), possibly funny faces, you know, adding that little zing to the pictures showing your creativity, cuteness overload, and being kind & showing that Hopkins Community Spirit! Bonus points may be given for collaborating with another team on the Hunt for a mission. Know if not a requirement of a specific mission, a team will only get bonus points for 3 collaborations with another team. Read the mission—sometimes a mission will state if you do x, you will get bonus points. 8) Planning Ahead—on Wednesday starting at 5 pm is Berrylicious Bash. Hint-- there will be many missions at the Bash! A few additional ways to receive bonus points at the Bash events: enter the Largest Homegrown Raspberry Contest, enter the Raspberry Dessert Contest, and/or enter the Pie Eating Contest! Tell them when you sign in that you are on the HUNT!
