The crowned Raspberry Royalty take part in community service, volunteerism and personal growth opportunities within the local community. The long-standing program offers a chance to give back while also forging new connections.
The crowned Raspberry Royalty will be organizing a community service project to enhance the Hopkins community. In addition to giving back as a volunteer throughout your year of service, you will plan, design, develop, and execute a community service project of your own that is meaningful to you. This is a great experience in leadership, business, marketing, and the importance of community and giving back.

The Raspberry Royalty program is a great way to meet new friends and have fun with other young women who may have similar goals and interests. Not only will you be spending time with workshop participants from the Hopkins area, you will also have the opportunity to meet many other Royalty from various communities throughout the Twin Cities and learn about their hometowns. You truly become part of a large extended family.
As Raspberry Royalty, you will be participating in many activities to enhance your social and real-life networking skills. You will meet many people in our community including city government leaders, local business owners, and other people who are very community-minded, including nonprofit organization leaders and volunteers. Many of the same leaders in the community could assist you with some of your life goals such as college aspirations, career plans, and giving back to the community.
To continue developing the leadership skills gained during the Raspberry Leadership Workshop, Raspberry Royalty are given many opportunities for public speaking, volunteering, and networking. You can continue to set goals for personal and group growth through leadership exercises and training sessions. In addition to learning etiquette, city government, and job interviewing techniques, you will be challenged to try new things and make new friends!
The Raspberry Royalty Scholarship Fund is funded through the work of the Hopkins Raspberry Association charitable gaming operation, fundraisers, and most recently, the addition of the generous participation of the Walser Automotive Group.
