Each year, a medallion about the size of your palm is hidden somewhere in Hopkins during the festival. The person who finds it first earns a $300 cash prize.
Clues to finding the medallion will begin appearing Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The clues will be posted on the website and social media at 8:00 am each day.
Clue #1 - The Hopkins Raspberry Festival is ninety-one years young; fun times are to be achieved. For the founders, the fact that the Festival endured so long would be hard to conceive! The Golden Raspberry is out! Look for two friends in a busy place, enough doublespeak! Green Green Green? Of course there is! It’s hidden somewhere south of Minnehaha Creek.
Clue #2 - The Golden Raspberry is…somewhere! Get chugging! It’s time for a second day to look. In the early 1900s, an investment was made. It was convenient for this little nook! Where it’s hidden was being farmed in the 1920s; today, the farms and tractors are history! You need to look within 3 miles of Longfellow’s Investment to solve this year’s mystery!
Clue #3 - Day 3 of the hunt for the Golden Raspberry, but the clues won’t get any easier for you! Are there trees? Yes! Is there grass? Indeed! And a party environment? We’ll add that too! There was a field nearby. Not for the Threshers, Pillmakers, or Advertisers, but for kiddos! It’s a busy place, so be careful when looking. But the numbers suggest I’m too verbose!
The Golden Raspberry has been found! It was located by Nine Mile Creek near the two birch trees.
