Join the Raspberry Festival Sketch-Out! Artists from Urban Sketchers Twin Cities will lead a sketch walk from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Friday, July 18 to capture the Raspberry Festival scene along Historic Hopkins Mainstreet!

No experience necessary. If you already sketch, bring your own supplies. If you don't know how to sketch, we'll begin with an instructional demonstration and provide sketchbooks and pencils for you to use.

The sketch-out starts with a demonstration and proceeds to these locations at these times:

6:30 pm - Clock Tower, Demonstration and Sketching, 9th and Mainstreet

7:00 pm - Raspberry Festival Royalty Beneath the World's Largest Raspberry, 21 8th Avenue North

7:30 pm – Antique Cars at The Artery, 8th Avenue South

8:00 pm - 8:30 pm - Sketckbook Throwdown. This is a chance to share and see everyone's sketches from the evening. The organizers from Urban Sketchers will lead a procession from The Artery to a nearby Throwdown location where we can admire the sketches we've created and visit about the experience.

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities is a chapter of Urban Sketchers; a community of 440 non-profit chapters in over 60 countries with over 150,000 urban sketchers.
